Why did you choose College Prep? I chose College Prep because when I visited for the first time, it became clear to me that everyone at CPS values kindness.
What advice do you have for 8th graders applying to high school? There is a high school out there for everyone, so don't get too stressed or uncomfortable throughout the process.
What is your favorite place on campus? I love doing homework and chatting with friends next to the waterfall and under the big oak tree. It is always sunny there, and the sound of the water is really nice.
What are you involved in on Campus? I run cross country and track, and take photography. I am a member of the gardening club, co-leader of cycling club, and Jewish club. I am the co-leader of the cooking club, and from time to time I participate in science olympiad and the Jazz Band, playing piano or clarinet.
What has been your favorite class? My favorite class so far has been Chinese. I really enjoyed the small class size, the awesome and super skilled teacher, and the newness of a foreign language. I have never before studied Chinese, but now I plan on taking it all 4 years, since I love it so much!
What has been the best thing about College Prep? My favorite thing about CPS is how much opportunity there is to try new things. There are so many classes, electives and clubs, giving everyone many opportunities for new adventures.
What is your favorite College Prep memory? Singing karaoke with the whole XC team on the long bus ride back home from a race.
Three unusual things about me:
1. I love everything outdoors, especially rock climbing, cycling, and running.
2. I really like ice cream.
3. I love traveling (especially when it includes ice cream or cycling)
